What You Need To Know About Google Adsense

Google Adsense is the simple way you can turn web traffic into money. Instead of going through the stress of selling advertising space or creating your product, with Google Adsense all you will need to do is some minute’s set-up process and you will be earning money immediately.
Are you confused on how Google Adsense works, how to set Google Adsense, meaning of Google Adsense and many more questions. Here are basics on how Google Adsense works.

What is Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is a contextual advertiser program.

How Does Google Adsense Works?

Adsense will read all the text around the ad and figure out what the webpage is all about and serve up ads that are relevant to your website. For example, if you’re running a website that teaches how to start a piggery and you don’t have any product to sell on the site, but you want to make money from it, all you need to do is to set up a Google Adsense. Once your Adsense account is set, it will read the text on your site and figure out the best ad relevant for your site.
Whenever anyone clicks on your ads, you will get paid. The amount you will receive on every click depends on how the click is valuable to the advertiser. For example, if you’re running a fishing website, you might only make $0.15 a click, but if you are running a website related to loan, you might get paid as much as $5-$15 a click.

How To Set Up Google Adsense Account?

To get started, go to http://www.adsense.com , register an account with them, but before you register, you must have a website running already so that Google will know where you plan on putting the ads.
Then, walk through the AdSense set-up process. At the end of the process, Google will generate a small snippet of code.
Copy and paste this code into your HTML editor. Upload the file, and then wait about five minutes for it to process. Once AdSense has had a chance to read your website, it’ll generate the ads and you’ll soon be up and running.

What Kind of Websites Work Well with Google AdSense?

The best kind of website that work fine for Adsense have to be a content websites that get most of its traffic from search engines.
It’s very rare that you’ll be able to make more money from AdSense than you’re spending from another advertising source. For example, it doesn’t really make sense to try to advertise in a magazine for your website and try to make the money back with AdSense.
Because search engine traffic is free, you’ll almost always be profitable if you’re driving traffic from search engines to AdSense.
Content sites work best because you have increased trust already and people will tend to click on your recommendations and links. Also, AdSense tends to earn less than selling your own or other people’s products, so it doesn’t really make sense to use AdSense in conjunction with an ecommerce site.
In short, AdSense works best with content sites that are ranked in search engines.
These are the basics of how to use Google’s innovative AdSense program. Setting of Adsense takes less than 20 Minutes. If you’re already getting traffic, you can very soon be expecting a check from Google.

Make Money : Set a Blog to Earn Adsense Revenue

One of the easiest and most popular means to make money online is to set a blog to earn money from Google Adsense. All you will be required to do is to set up a blog, write good content and place Google Adsense code on it. You will earn money whenever anybody clicks on the ads supplied by Google Adsense. Though this concept may seem simple and easy, but it requires hard work, persistence and consistent efforts. Today, I want to share 6 steps on how to set a blog and earn money from Google Adsense program.

#1. Find a Niche
What is a niche? Niche simply means an activity or position that suits someone talents and personality. Though if you’re already into blogging or any online business, the meaning of a niche won’t sound new to you. But whatever the case may be, if you’re planning to run a blog that you don’t want to run out of content in the future, you must find a niche that you have passion for so that it can be easy for you to write about it. Examples of some popular and profitable niches are Weight loss, Education, Make Money Online, Sport, News and many more.

#2. Start Your Blog
After finding a suitable niche for your blog, the next thing to do is to think of starting your own blog. I have come across so many people online and offline who think blogging is a hard thing to start, but what I always tell them is that blogging is the easiest thing to do, you just have to learn how to do it. If you can access your Facebook, Twitter and Email account on your own without anybody’s help, then you can blog.
There are many blogging platforms out there for you to start with such as blogger.com, blog.com, wordpress.com, wordpress.org etc. Some of these blogging platforms are free while some are paid. If you have enough money to start a paid one, you can go for wordpress.org. But if you don’t have enough money on you to start a paid one, you can go for a free ones like blogger.com. After setting up the blog that suit you best then sign up for adsense. Blogger.com is the best free and easy to use blogging platform while wordpress.org is the best paid blogging platform.
#3. Sign Up For Google Adsense
After setting up your blog the next thing you need to do is to sign up for Google Adsense account. Google Adsense is free but your blog will need to be reviewed before you will be approved. The approval may take three days.
In case you applied but you were not approved, don’t get discouraged. Google Adsense will send a message to you with the reasons why your applications was rejected, use it to fix the problem(s) and re-apply again.
#4. Write Quality & Useful Content
One of the key elements of a successful blog is a quality and useful content. If you really want to make money with your blog using Google Adsense, you need to write tangible content on your blog in order to attract visitors and keep them coming back to your blog. Always make it a duty to post new and quality content to your blog often so that your readers will always find new content on your blog and you will have more chance to have more readers. The number of readers you’re able to attract to your blog will determine the number of clicks you get on your ads.
#5. Drive Traffic To Your Blog
Though you have set up your blog, install adsense on it and have written quality content on it, if you don’t let people know about it, that mean you will be the only one reading your blog. You need to drive traffic to your blog to make it expose to the world.
There are various means to drive traffic to you blog, we have paid and free means. But I will advise you to stick with free methods because they last longer and obviously don’t cost any money. Some of the best free ways to drive traffic to your blog are: leaving a useful comment on blogs related to yours, participating in forums, using social networking site (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace etc.), writing quality articles on major article directories with link back to your blog. These are the easy free ways to drive traffic to your blog. Note that the amount of traffic you drive to your blog will determine your earnings with adsense.
#6. Repeat Step 4 and 5 Again
If you wish to continue earning adsense revenue on your blog, you need to constantly post fresh and quality article on your blog and also keep driving traffic to your blog. Strive to make your blog better if you want to be successful with adsense revenue program.
Finally, for the first few months, most new blogs with Google Adsense program don’t make much money, but as time goes on their daily earnings improve due to hard work and consistent. But once you start making money with adsense, you will be amazed to see how easy it is to make money with adsense on your blog.

How To Make Money From Google Fortunes

Recently, when I was browsing the internet, I saw a report about Google the giant search engine we all use every day. In the report, I was able to deduce that Google made $29.3 billion in revenues for all of 2010. This only happened in 2010 alone, what about in 2011? That will be another story entirely.
From my research, I found out that Google receives an estimated 1 billion unique visitors every month i.e. 1 in 7 people in the universe. It is hard for anyone to use the internet without using Google.
Today, I want to expose a secret of Google to all. The secret is that the 97% of Google’s revenue come from advertising. Are you saying what the essence of all this post is? I wrote this post so as to awaken us about how much we can make from Google. Although we cannot all work with Google, but we can earn from Google by enrolling for Google Adsense program.

What is Google Adesense?

AdSense is a wonderful advertising concept that was conceived by Google some time back. Though new advertising concepts keep coming up all the time, this one is something that is altogether different.
AdSense (Google’s advertising program) presents an earning opportunity to the website owners by allowing Google to post advertisements on their websites. These advertisements are either text advertisements or image based advertisements.

How to Make Money with Google Adsense?

Google AdSense program requires you (the website owner) to include a piece of code (a programming script) on your website. You can add this piece of code anywhere in the html code of your website i.e. depending on where you want to position the advertisements (however, there are certain rules that you must follow while pasting this scripting code). This piece of code is what determines the structure of advertisements and their content (and this is what helps Google in floating the advertisements on your website). W hen people visit your website they are able to see these advertisements. Your earnings are based on how many Google Ads are displayed on your website and also based on how many times visitors to your website actually click on one of those Ads. The Google AdSense system calculates your revenue on per-click (CPC) and per-thousand-Ads-displayed (CPM) basis. The latter is also known as impressions.

The money I made from HUBPAGES wasn’t much until I start my own personal blog where I keep the 100% of my earnings from Google.
Start Today.
My piece of advice to everybody reading this post is to start today, you need to start somewhere.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

From my research, I got to know that most webmasters source of revenue is Google Adsense since it allows publishers from all country to participate in the program. But the problem with Google adsense program is that they are strict with their TOS. A publisher’s account may get banned for invalid click and non compliance with their TOS.

Has adsense ban you from using their ad networks? or Your blog/website was not allowed to join the network due to some reasons? or Do you wish to add more ad networks to your blog/website to increase your earnings? Note that having more than 2 ad networks on your blog or website may make your blog or website look spamming and if you are running Google adsense ad on your blog/website, don’t use any contextual ad network with it since it is against their TOS.

1. Yahoo Bing Network:

Yahoo! Bing ad network or simply media.net is a collaboration of two of the biggest search engines on the internet.
One of the advantages of Yahoo Bing Network compare to Google AdSense is perhaps its ability to allow publishers to customize their ad units in terms of style (size, color, shapes) so it blends better with their respective website.
Media.net accepts blogs with low traffic. They have a support where you can contact the rep assigned to you for problems related to ad serving. Their Minimum payout is $100. Your earnings can be received via Paypal or Wire.

2. AdPepper:

AdPepper is an ad network that provides CPM, CPA and CPC ad campaigns. With AdPepper, advertising inventory is 100% utilized. 6. Clicksor:

Clicksor is a popular Contextual Advertising Network with more than 150 thousand content websites and serving more than 3 billion impressions on monthly basis. With Clicksor, you can set minimum prices for CPV, CPC, CPM and CPI ads. To make sure you’re still earning, if the minimum price for your ads is not met, your default ads are put up instead to make sure that you have no unsold traffic. Clicksor minimum payout for Check and PayPal is $50.

7. Kontera:

Kontera provides in-text ads and show a small balloon ad over selected words that advertisers pay for. This type of ad network is suitable for blogs and website that have rich content. For some readers, kontera ads can be annoying because the ads are displayed in a pop-up window. In my opinion, the click-through rates are low. You can get your earnings via Check, Wire-transfer and PayPal. Their Minimum payout is $50.

8. Infolinks:

Infolinks is just like Kontera. Infolinks also use in-text ads. To me, the click-through rate of Infolinks is better than that of Kontera. Infolinks is easy to set up and provides relevant ads to your blog content. Infolinks payments are made by Wire transfer, Automated Clearing House ($400 min) or PayPal with a minimum of $50. You can find a quick review about infolinks here

ValueClickMedia is one of the most reputable lead generations providers, quality campaigns, high payouts and the tools and support to earn more from your post-registration inventory and CAN-SPAM compliant e-mail lists. Your blog or website must have a minimum of 3000 Page Views on a monthly basis to qualify.

How to Track Google Adsense Check/Cheque with Payment Number

There are almost four methods Google pays Adsense publishers. Depending on your payment address, the following payment options may be available to you: Checks, Electronic Funds Transfer, Western Union Quick Cash and Rapida.

Currently, Nigerian Google Adsense publishers can only receive their earnings via Check.  You have to wait for your check to arrive, take it to the Bank to get the value cleared into your account.
Google Adsense earnings can be delivered via Standard Delivery and Secured Express Delivery.
Standard Delivery is free (i.e. no charge for mailing payment via this means). Checks sent via standard delivery use to take approximately 2-4 weeks after the mailing date; however, it may take longer depending on the postal service in your location.
Secured Express Delivery is not free. EUR €17 will be charge from your earnings to send check via secured express delivery. This means of delivery is fast, secure and reliable. Checks sent via secured express delivery typically arrive within 5-10 business days. A tracking number is always included with your payment details.
This post is specifically for those who use the secured express delivery option to receive their adsense checks.
In 2010, when my 1st Google Adsense check arrives, I didn’t know because I was waiting for the tracking code, to track the check whereabout. Whereas, the check is at the DHL office in my area but they were unable to reach my address and reach me over phone. When the tracking code appeared in my payment details, I went to DHL office to claim the ownership.
Later after that incidence, I discovered a way to track my adsense check via my payment number. The payment number is the reference number on the DHL parcel. To access your payment number, click on Payment on your Google Adsense account dashboard. The reference number should look like this:

Once you have the payment number, head over to http://www.dhl.com.ng/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html. Enter the payment number on the reference number column, select the date range of shipment, select shipment destination and finally, Click track.

As at the time of this publication my tracking code has not appeared, but I’m tracking my check location with my payment number.
Note: If your payment number begins with 0 (zero) don’t add it to the reference number.
If you have any question regarding this, don’t hesitate to use the comments section.

Why Google Adsense is the Best and Easiest Money Making Program.???

It is a known fact that the easiest and best way to make money online via blogging is by displaying advertisement on your blog. Presently, there are hundreds of ad networks on the internet such as Adsense, Adhitz,Clicksor,Bidvertisers, Infolinks and others.

Bloggers that wishes to become successful in their blogging career will not implement so many ads on their blog, but they will pick one out of the ad networks and then put it to work. So out of all the ad serving programs, Adsense is regarded as the best.

To those who don’t really know what Adsense is, it is a product of Google which allows bloggers and webmasters to display contextual ads on their blogs/websites. To me, Adsense is the best of all ad network as I have tried so many of them, but what I find out is that apart from the fact that Adsense CPC is the best, there are other numerous benefits, but some of them are listed below.

Why You Must Go for Adsense

Adsense benefits are numerous, but I will try to mention some top benefits why you must be using Adsense. So before I list out the benefits, I must share how Adsense works. With Adsense program, you will get paid when people click on your ads, although you must avoid clicking your ads yourself as it is against Adsense policies.
1. Adsense is a contextual ad network: This connote that ads will be displayed/served according to the content(s) available on your blog/website. For instance if your blog is about recipes, the ads that will be served on your blog/website would be related to recipe.
2. Adsense is unique and different from other ad serving networks as their ad is easy to set up and install. To install Adsense on your blog, all you got to do is add the code to your blog/website template/theme and advertisement will start running on your blog/website.
3. Adsense CPC is the best of all ad serving networks as it CPC is higher than the rest. I have tried some in the past, but their CPC is low and can never be compared with Adsense.
4. You don’t have to be a geek or owns a website or blog to use Adsense as there are so many revenue sharing websites on the internet that allows you to use Adsense with the stuffs you have on their website but the money made via their website would be shared using the ratio in their policy. Some Adsense revenue sharing websites you can join are www.hubpages.com [you publish article(s) on their website and you get paid whenever some click on the ads served by Adsense on your article(s) page], www.doctoc.com [you upload document(s) on their website and you get paid whenever someone click ads served by Adsense on the uploaded document(s) page].
The benefits listed above are the reasons why I recommend Google Adsense for those that wish to make money online easily. If you have other reasons for using Adsense, don’t hesitate to share it with us via the comment box below.
