Maximum Numbers of Adsense Ads Allowed on a Page

Google Adsense is currently the best contextual high paying ad networks. Adsense don’t joke with their program policies. Going against any Adsense policies will lead to account ban.
One of the common questions often asked by newbies is: ‘How Many Google Adsense Ads are allowed per Page’.
Google Adsense ads can be categorized into the following formats:
  • Adsense content unit
  • Adsense link unit
  • Adsense for search
  • Adsense for Mobile

Allowed Adesense Content Unit Per Page

Publishers may place up to three AdSense for content ad units on each page. Out of those three ad units, no more than one can be size 300×600. Publishers can place more than one of all ad sizes except the 300×600 on each page. These policies apply to both desktop and high-end mobile optimized sites.

Allowed Adsense Link Unit Per Page

You may place up to three link units on a page (horizontal or vertical).

Allowed Adsense for Search Per Page

A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed per page. Also, a single link unit or image ad only may be placed on pages with AdSense for search results. Queries must originate from users inputting data directly into the search box and cannot be modified. This includes pre-populating the search box with terms or hard-coding direct links to search results pages. AdSense for search code may not be integrated into any software application such as a toolbar.

Allowed Adsense for Mobile Per Page

Currently, publishers are permitted to display one AdSense for mobile (WAP only) ad unit on each of their WAP mobile webpages. If a double ad unit is used, please note that it may only be placed at the bottom of each page.
Note that placing more than the allowed ads per page attracts a ban and there’s no excuse even if you didn’t know.
